Training

Ashley is the owner and primary endoscopist of Wyoming Dysphagia Diagnostics LLC.  She completed her bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University and master's degree at Eastern Washington University, majoring in Communication Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) at both schools.  Before moving to Wyoming, Ashley worked for two of the largest hospitals in Phoenix, AZ (St. Joseph's Hospital and Banner University Medical Center) and various other settings including rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities.  She is passionate about helping medically complex patients with dysphagia, including those with tracheostomies, ventilator-dependency, and patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).

FEES Competency

Ashley trained in FEES under the direction of the original developer of the FEES procedure, Dr. Susan Langmore (PhD CCC-SLP), and completed additional competency through SA Swallowing Solutions. She has conducted numerous FEES procedures in various acute and outpatient settings in Arizona.  As she continues to pursue ongoing education in the latest techniques and advancements in the field, Ashley is working toward providing pediatric services in the near future.

Personal

Ashley grew up in northern Colorado, lived in Utah and Washington during schooling, and Arizona during her husband's medical residency program.  She is ecstatic to finally call Sheridan, Wyoming her home!  She enjoys hiking and camping in the Big Horn mountains and doing home improvement projects with her husband and two girls.
